ABOUT VIV & CLASS INFORMATION
Viv comes from a diverse training and experience background, including working for the Laban Art of Movement Studio and the then-new Hull University Drama Department; she was supported to form a dance company awarded with Arts Council support for local and touring performances. During this time Viv continued to tour and perform as a dancer. Viv then worked with Jane Dudley at The Place, Hanya Holm and eventually Folkwang University of the Arts, which acts as the feeder school for Tanztheater Wuppertal founded by Pina Bausch.
More recently she has been involved in various film productions as an actor including Star Wars: The Last Jedi Episode VIII, Christopher Robin, His Dark Materials and The Human Centipede II as ‘The Mother’ directed by Tom Six
Viv Bridson is 85, working alongside her assistants Noémie Laabaied and Amy Mauvan. It is a class that combines elements of improvisation, modern dance and contemporary technique.
Classes are every Sunday from 11:00-12:30pm, in term time. The fee is what you can afford up to £10.00 or more if you can. You can pay cash in the studio or through paypal.me/vivienbridson.
